I made another trip around the sun! And it's been a crazy April so far.
I love sewing skirts.I made a lot last year. This was an involved reconstruction job.. Glad I stuck with it though. ORIGINAL reel/post- A little flash of red! (Burda 6835)❤️
Join is for a bit of spring chit chat on all things sewing.
Just found @rylissbod fun #sewapril2021!! April 2 - Hands down signature look has been midi. MIDI skirts, pants dresses. Don’t know why but I love the look. ❤️
Satin is hard to photograph. Testing a new pattern, think this might become a tnt. Burda 6146. I modified the sleeve (no elastic). Next one need to lower darts and might go up to a 12. Super fast make. Sleeves had so little ease, went in like 🧈.
You guys didn't tell me that Nap dresses were a thing. Link in bio to an article I found on this very topic. You'll be pleased to find that these dresses are super easy to sew. You probably already have a few. But do you nap in them? .
If looks could kill.
Drapery time. Had this fabric for so long. 6 yards! Sewing simple, 1panel curtains. My living room gets really hot in the summer, these will offer a much needed break from the sun. .
I'm partial to #fabric that's like my cat. Had to make a cozy coat out of this fuzzy faux fur. Plus, Milo likes it. Barely sit down and he's in my lap. For the win!
