Where is Everyone?

Wow, life has a way of keeping a person busy. Looking back I can’t believe so much time has flown by. The pandemic seems like it was yesterday and a million years ago. I lost my job shortly after March 2020. Went through the cycles of grief over and over and over again. So much happening, so much uncertainty.

Finally got out of my funk, and got to work. I made it through with freelance work and contract jobs, then finally landed a permanent position in October of 2021.

I’ve been really busy with my new job, but I miss creating and writing. So, here I am! Ready to pick up where I left off. What has been going on with you?! Do people still blog anymore? Or read for that matter? I’ve been posting on Instagram but miss the long form of blog posts. I did create a new website that houses all my freelance and professional work. You can check it out here, it’s called Studio 52e.

I feel that the name Denver Sews is a little limiting. I am getting ready to start a few remodel projects in my house, and most likely will post them here. Still, lots of sewing and new ways of creating too. Hope to see you here and everywhere!

  4. I’m here and I read your messages!!!! We are away in our Motorhome at the moment…..a combo of hand sewing and machining with my featherweight makes fir happy times in between walking trips.

  5. It’s always lovely to see signs of life in the blogging world so welcome back! Glad to hear you made it through what the times handed you. If there’s sewing chat you want to share then there are still lots of us out here reading. Sometimes the software won’t let us post so we’ll just see how tHis goes. And a remodel? Best wishes and I do hope for some peeks. We rent so zi just drawn a lot…
