March Cape Sew-Along

At the Denver Sewing Collective’s March Meetup I announced a Cape Sew-Along. There were 3 of us who started to make capes, Karin, Jane and myself. Looking for something?

It's easy to pick what a stylist says you should wear, but as many of us know the challenge and fun lies in being creative. Making a new outfit out of things you've had for years or being on a strict budget pushes you to be creative. Love what @deandrehopkins is doing. My favorite šŸ˜ Repost. I loved the idea of making something fun out of something boring. I'd totally wear one! I went to some thrift stores and antique shops this Saturday and picked up a few things. My living room is tiny, and step stools work surprisingly well as little coffee tables. This one I got at an antique shop and it's fairly beat up. I might refinish it or not. I think a doily or placemat works great st covering up the rough shots. . Espirt was the šŸ’£ back then. Anyone shop at Commander Salamander? So that's how they do it. My obsession šŸ˜ ā™„ļø How we dress is personal. I, for one, don't like wearing sweats outside the gym. I like dressing up to work either at home or #remote. I love clothes, fashion, color, fabrics, and textures. Anyone else?
