A startup women’s clothing company headquartered in Denver that designs trendy casual dresses, bottoms, tops, outerwear and accessories with a feminine flair is in need of a freelance seamstress to sew sample designs and products for our online store. Our designs are inspired by the Rococo, Baroque and Victorian time periods and are made from pastel colored fabric with ruffles, lace, and floral details.

Our seamstress must have a serger sewing machine and experience sewing delicate fabrics. Many of our designs include bows, ruffles and intricate details. Our seamstress must also have experience sewing tops, bottoms, dresses and accessories.

With this opportunity, our seamstress will get a behind the scenes look at starting a fashion company and be included in all steps along the way (if they want to be): sample creation, sample fitting, printing fabric and production of designs, photo shoot, and marketing. This position would be ideal for someone who is interested in launching their own fashion brand.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most highly respected bridal shops in the country. Please do not respond if you do not have genuine passion and enthusiasm for the bridal industry, sewing experience is necessary, bridal sewing experience would be preferred but not required. We are searching for sewing assistants to help with prep work, sewing, steaming and pressing of gowns, due to the exceptional growth our business has experienced, and to work together with our five Bridal Alterations Specialists, five Assistant Sewers/Pressers and one Alterations Receptionist in our in-house alterations department. Assistance is needed immediately with our current work-load.

The ideal candidate understands the seasonal aspect of this employment. Mid-March through mid-October each year is very busy and may require some over-time, mid- October through mid-March each year is much slower, and your hours will be less.
