Dutch Label Shop asked if I would like to try their labels. I said yes! Read below for a quick review, plus a discount code to try Dutch Label Shop labels yourself.
The website is easy to navigate and there are lots of fun options to choose from. You can choose clothing labels, brand labels, hang tags and stock labels. I concentrated on the clothing labels.
Designing your own is easy to do too, if not a bit time-consuming. I spent a lot of time deciding on fonts, colors, and images.
There are colors that you can pick for your background and for text and different label sizes. There’s also a selection of fonts you can use and fun symbols for just about anything.
There are other ways to customize, good if you have a brand/logo.
Here’s what I ultimately came up with. The black and white labels are sew-in, the red/beige labels are iron on.
I tested on a few fabric swatches. From left to right, top to bottom: rayon, brocade, cotton, knit.
You will absolutely need to use a pressing cloth between the iron and the label. Consult their product tips for more information.
To see how well it would stand up to washing I washed and dried the 100% cotton swatch. Everything turned out fine. I didn’t dry on high heat, however. The label does not budge.
The more you buy the less they are per unit. I opted for the least which was 30.
I was having issues with getting my order to go through, but the customer service was fast and turns out it was operator error on my part.
